Need some help please. I have a yj wanting to go full hydro trying to keep away from high dollar units. Picked up a ram from buddy of mine and have a friend who makes hydraulic lines. I have a psc high volume pump currently running assist steering. My main question is what steering unit (orbital) should I run. Anything cheaper like tractor supply? A part # would be nice if someone has done this with success. And no I do not drive this on street trail rig only. Thanks to all

try places that work on forklifts.
i do not recommend Trail Gear orbital. mine has 1 ride and needs a rebuild

X2 on forklifts,
I have a couple friends run them on their mud trucks and love em. No centering valve tho, you,ll have to pay the big bucks to get that.

Depends on what you want, if you to dive it on the street or at high speed, the tractor stuff doesn't keep up in my experience. For true crawling yeah you can put together a tractor supply set up for 300 or so

i mainly drive it to and from the trail no faster than 40 so i do have small street driving but that's about it otherwise mostly just trail riding. so where do I go from here? thanks dude

drill and tap the box. it can be done by common sence. you can get a ram from www.surpluscenter.com
