I was at a local dealer picking up a part this weekend and saw this on the lot. Not really for me but definitely got my attention. Long live the 80s!

We had one of those at the dealer I worked at in Richmond. Ours had no confederate flag on top though. They where scared it might "upset" some people

I've seen one of those, possibly that one, or a new Charger in Hazzard trim along I40 in between Winston-Salem and Greensboro.

I work at Gerry wood and they've had the challenger done for about a week now. the wheels look better on the computer than the car. They did put Dixie horns on it though but I wished they would have used a srt charger platform instead.

Sweet, but that's a challenger...wtf?

Actually, I remember reading somewhere that there were a couple times during the filming of the show where they had to sub in a Challenger painted up the same way for stunts. They went through so many Chargers jumping them that they sometimes had to punt. On occasion, you can see editing goofs in the shows where a true Mopar guy could tell the difference. I think I remember them to be mostly interior shots. I am not a Mopar guy, just a TV hound....

I think maybe they used different year chargers, but no way could they get away with using a 70's challenger as a sub. And on that point, other than Coy and Vance Duke...that's the one thing I hate about that show is how many running/driving chargers they destroyed.

Yeah they fawked that up big time. Somebody should get bitch slapped for it. General Lee was a CHARGER. The Challenger should be white and come with a some speed in the glove box.

I would venture to say better than all of the Dukes of Hazzard shows combined.

Now back to this...

I like how the new Challenger mimics the 70's model, i'd like one in that crazy purple or green they had on the old mopars.

I had a real 70's Challenger pass me the other day near the speedway. He eased up beside a new one and rode beside it for a while. It was the first time I had seen them side by side. When we stopped at the light at Pitts School road, I was beside the new one. I asked him what he thought about seeing the original like that... He was like, Huh? what do you mean? I just shook my head and rolled the window back up. It was a wasted moment of Zen.
