The entrance to this gas station has to be at least 80 feet wide, and the pole you see is the ONLY thing that is possible to hit.. and he did! Oooops.

Dumb ass no-drivin' booty-watchin' fool for sure, maybe, unless he suffered the broken center pin syndrome, possibly as a result of loose u-bolts. So far, I've seen two 550s with bolts so loose that it's damn lucky this didn't happen to them. Don't know if Ford's got a problem or if it's something that's part of a lack of following some prescribed maintenance schedule. The two I've seen were both brought to a friend of mine for alignment because they "are hard to keep in one lane." He found the loose u-bolts on both, one when the left side of the axle fell when it was lifted for inspection. Bet that was a Charmin moment for the tech.
 
fortunately they have DEEP pockets to fix it or buy a new one. Gregory Poole will be PISSED though. nice pic
 
I saw that truck too and thought it rather funny seeing that "CAT" service truck w/ badass boom and all "ON the HOOK" of a much bigger wrecker...


I dunno....kinda like havin' a badass buggy and towing it with a minivan or something like that....:beer:
