Just so everyone knows, on jeeps and all chrysler products the automatic transmission fluid level is checked with the "engine IDLING in neutral"
In case someone wasnt educated to the point of knowing that they actually write it on the dipstick.
So when you pick up your new jeep conversion with a brand new transmission from the shop and then check the fluid level incorrectly and add 2 extra quarts of fluid you pretty much void your warranty. Those 2 extra quarts in a 45rfe transmission wreak havoc on the solenoid pack and pressure sensors leading to complete transmission failure.
