FZJ80 front Axle Tech

Ended up finding a full front for 350. So on to building it up. Looking at picking up a rear to match.

The 80 series axles ought to work well for you. Steering is always an issue with these rigs because of frame interference. I'd leave tie rod behind the axle if doing links/radius arms and worry more about packaging the panhard and stuff that will still potentially interfere with the frame. If you are running leaves, then depending on the setup (SOA/SUA) you probably have a few other things to consider.

I'm not too far from you, but we've got a newborn and 2 other little ones, so I don't get much free time, but let me know if you need a hand, maybe I can make it happen :D

I've just started my 3.4 swap and dual case project, so my rig is sitting in the garage right now, but any pics you'd like/want/need I'll be happy to help. Do you/will you have a build thread here or elsewhere?

Im over on the planet for years. We have talked Paul ;) I'm 88bronzetrooper there as well. Im so happy someone got Ruby and is enjoying her, but jealous it wasn't me :p We do need to meet up one day sir.

Yeah I remembered you from over there. The ol' ruby trooper was a great starting point but the list of things to tweak/change/upgrade really never ends! Can't wait to see how your rig turns out!

BTW I'm almost certain I saw someone selling an 80 series rear in the classifieds here recently...

Yeah I think im going to bite the bullet and pick it up lol. I have a buddy selling all the stuff for a front three link so I guess I need to spend that money too ;)
