Had a little G-job to do at work today. The idler pulley on my old Ford lawn tractor took a crap, so I decided to make one. Would rather make it on a lathe, but the only CNC I have is the mill. The bearing to fit it was only $10. The 7075 was free:rockon:

Well that was my first guess, but maybe I'm just stupid... trying to figure out what the hell the reference here is.

Only lawn mowing for myself. When you work in manufacturing, g-job always stands for govt work. Just means doing something at work for yourself, more or less. Guess it's a correlation to the lazy govt worker leaning on a shovel wasting time, only accomplishing something instead:rolleyes:
