Dumb. When a bullet destroys itself and loses all it's petals/mass immediately on entry, it loses all of it's penetration and energy and becomes worthless. Not that it would make it through anything, but advertising "barrier penetrating" self defense ammo is pretty ridiculous too.

I think in a 410 slug .45 there will be plenty of mass to be a great self defence round. 9MM probably lacking good stopping power.

The specs on them are pretty mean for a 9mm bullet. They also look pretty damn destructive to me, just saying. If they make them in a .45, I'd like to try them out. I keep HydraShoks in it right now.

Now THOSE are awesome! I think shot guns are effective enough as is though.

And just like flechettes, they are virtually worthless in anything less than an artillary round. Unless you are just shooting to maim.
