Anyone heard or done one?

There was a DED episode on the one in Portland. Noticed there is one near Nashville this yr.

I think it would be cool to have something similar in NC, even though the $500 car is tough these days.

About 6 months ago some guys were going to have one up here in PA.
They had a FB page.
Never materialized. Lots of people said "oh yeah, i'll do it" but notbody would volunteer to help set it up.
The few guys doing it were having a lot of trouble arranging routes that would be fun/unusual off-road but not involve illegal trespassing.

I hope it eventually happens, a buddy and I already committed to using my old Mazda

They did have that lemons rally up your way that Roadkill was a part of though.

I would love to do one. I'd really like to do a Lemons race too; now those look fun!
 
Looks like tons of fun. The dirt every day episode I watched involving one showed that almost no one used a $500 car, but I would be down to do it for sure .


Maybe a NC4x4 gambler 500???
 
I have a car that was bought for 24 hours of lemans but never finished.... would like to do one some day.
