MY GARAGE DOOR SPRINGS BROKE ON ME LAST NIGHT. HAVING TROUBLE FINDING A PLACE THAT SELLS THEM. ITS THE SPRINGS ON THE BAR ALONG THE HEADER FOR GARAGE OPENING.

YEA THOSE ARE WRONG STYLE. I USED TO REPLACE ROLL UP TRUCK DOORS ON BOX TRUCK ALL THE TIME. GUESS I NEED TO TRY AND FIND MY OLD CRANK RODS!!

I had a cable break on my torsion spring. I didn't need a spring but ddmgaragedoors.com helped tremendously. For what it's worth I think you can buy springs from them as well. Unfortunately they are not local (at least to me).

I picked up a replacement spring direct from Overhead Door's building on Harris Blvd near 485 in Charlotte a couple years ago. I'm assuming they still sell parts direct to the public.
