I figured most of the older people here have something on the garage shelves dating back from the good old days. I’ll start with a couple of items.
Slick 50 oil treatment circa 1979.
Used in my 1978 Datsun 510 Dump it in with an oil change and the treatment was supposed to last 50,000 miles.

And a can of good old R12. I know I bought this for $.50 in the early 80s.

All came from my wife’s grandpa, and now it’s in my garage. Tons more. This is just what I have sitting out.

Cool old gas can

I have a butt load more tools and miscellaneous stuff I took out of his garage when he passed away. Hand drills, vice, hatchets, hammers, etc.

I love old hardwood yardsticks.

So many swordfights as a kid... and getting yelled at by Dad for it

I thought about topping it off and capping it on the sly. Then you can’t one up me.

Interestingly enough the 2018 can seal failed and it’s empty.
The older ones are still going strong

I have a full UNC set and a full Richard Petty set around here somewhere.
I wish I had the same eye then as I do now .... My Dad had a ton of this stuff!

Only thing I got that is of any decent age in my garage.

Well, I also have the pie plates and headlight bezels in a box that I'm to lazy to open and take a picture of.

Ole boy at the Pick-a-Part only charged me $35 for it too. :)

(Yeah, yeah, I know - it's a mess on top of my gun safe. I've been meaning to build a closet with shelves for all this stuff that comes home with me from the gun store.)

You need to look that grille up on ebay the last time i looked it was around 1000.00 for a good one. I have a complete1967 Gladiator truck with a real nice grille in it.

The grill reminded me ......
I do have a box full of cool car emblems.
When the Pull-a-Part opened in Winston-Salem, my daughters were early teens.
They LOVED going to Pull-A-Part. They would disappear with a couple of screwdrivers and pliers.
We would have to hunt them down when we were ready to go and they would have a handful of emblems.
