...it takes less than 2 days for a brand new ~20lb propane tank to leak out if you leave the grill valve open, even on low heat.
PS we ate pizza for dinner tonight :eek:

Another FYI, make sure you dont have blue or green residue on the valve, signs it was used for making meth (they put ammonia or something in there, corrodes the insides). VERY slim chance of this happening though.
 
Been there done that, I also learned the hard way to clost the propane valve when I am done grilling. Pizza is a good conselation dinner though! :)

:lol: Been there as well. You will not do it again, unless, of course there is alcohol involved...then it can happen twice :shaking:
 
This is also why apartments don't allow gas grills in most places. It's too much of a risk in such a small space.

pshh, they say they dont allow them but no one has ever said anything to us about the Holland thats been sitting on our porch all year.

back in my apt. living days, I did get a notice for using my lil porta-grill with the ~1lb cylinder. After that I had to haul it downstairs and grill like 50-75' from the building.

We have patios at our place, Im on the second floor so there is one below me and one above me.

The guys below me think its a great idea to grill out on their patio...

Wood+Fire does NOT mix. That shit always scares me. When I grill I take it out to the parking lot.
