Yes fuel for our vehicles is important so is electric and natural gas but how about water?  We can't go very long without flushing our toilets. We could go a little while without a shower. Cooking without water would get tough. Need drinking water all the time. Urban areas are on a system. Most of the homes out in the country have been hooked up to a water system. Are the abandoned wells being maintained?  Tainted pipe systems could require alot of cleaning and flushing to be used again. I'm worried about the water.
