gas stovetop repair help needed

broke the glass top on our kenmore gas range/oven. A) the part is available b) there no instructions anywhere on how to replace it. anybody here a service tech that could walk me through it should I hit a snag? Im going to order it and see what happens.

Have you tried googling it? I haven't had to do that specific job, but I know there are appliance repair places that have videos for repairing just about everything. I've fixed washing machines and vacuum cleaners that way.

If you have a glass cooktop gas range, I wouldn't touch it either.

sure Ive looked to no avail. lots of videos of the infrared deals, but none with gas burners poking through the glass tops. I suspect its not as plug and play as the electric versions.
