They really are great engines. However the plug thing usually strikes at the worst times. I’m getting ready to put a head on our 2V 450 service truck because someone already replaced a plug and used a helicoil vs a timesert and it launched again.
Keeping in mind the plug thing, the V10 ford’s are some of the better 3/4 and 1 Ton bargains left.
