Gear change help

I have a 90 cherokee with a D30 front and 8.25 rear. It has stock gears 3.54. Lockrite front ,welded rear. Can I go up to 4.11 without changing the carrier?? I have 34s on it now and need a gear upgrade.
 
If I remember correctly that is only for the front D30. I believe the 8.25 only has one carrier because it has the side adjustors, not shims....

Thanks for all of the help. I was directed to Randy's Rack and Pinoin web site by one of the Board members and that confirms what you guys said. Lots of good info there in tech section.
