want to run 33x10.5 on my 99 2.7 auto taco, positive i need to regear, thinking about 4.88s anybody done this? also curious about prices and where to get them installed....please help!

Definitely don't need 4.88s. Try 3.73s for better gas mileage or 4.11s for more torque. 4.88s are just going to keep your rpm's amazingly high on 33s, and as a result give you sucky gas mileage.

Let me know if I can help you out. No problem at all. Do you know what ratio is in there now? I cannot remember what was stock. 4.88 will probably be about right with that motor.

4.88's would probably be right. Stock was probably 4.10 or 4.56.

stock is 4.56 i might just keep those...any suggestions also andy how much for some sliders installed, i have some friends that got some work done on their trucks when yall were off pitts school
