If it's got the newer Nikki carb, you're in for a treat. Awful design. I just did one. Spent about an hour cleaning and still couldn't get all the trash out. I ended up buying a new carb from amazon for $90. Adjusted the governor and it's good. There's a lot of plastic and a big funky o-ring in the Nikki. Just doesn't look good for longevity, especially if it's been exposed to old fuel and varnish. I think it will decompose quickly, and the carb will never work right.
Basically, for my customer, it came down to this: a $30 kit plus 1 hour cleaning to wind up with a carb that may fall to pieces internally soon, or $85 for a brand new one that can be installed quickly.
Also, find an E5 torx socket. You'll likely need it to get it off. Harbor Freight carries them cheap.
