I'm a "JK Guy" and I still think this is cool so I hope it's okay if I share it here.

We are using an Aqualu tub to build an aluminum CJ8 Scrambler for a customer.

what's the purpose of the steering box at an angle? Also is that high steer arm welded to the knuckle?

No, it's bolted, just the sleeve for the double sheer is welded to the steering arm.
