I watched the state unclog two 12 foot culverts annually because of the beavers. All because they didn't want to destroy the wild life. Finally after the road nearly washed the critters had to go. Two trapping seasons and nearly 6 years the road hasn't been a dam for a low lying pond for a while.

Beavers have the world's second highest rate of affecting the environment of any animal...
 
This one has worked in the past, get a recording of running water, put it on repeat, play it by the dam. The beavers will work and work to fix the leak, it takes time but they most of the time give up and move on.

Although cows are up there pretty high w their immense grazing and global-warming causing methane liaded farts.

But beavers can dramatically change a landscape in the matter of a season or two. Little bastards.

Horses can be worse than cows. Cows can't crop grass down as close as a horse can.

Horses and cows graze entirely different. Teeth structure and all is different. Horses will ruin any good pasture if over stocked in quick order.
