first one, then within a month there is probably 7-8 at least. Limb around them is dead.

Do we have giant spiders? Time to movevthe EB and burn the whole place?

They will ruin that tree! We used to get ladders and climb up with a can of ether and watch em burn. Depending on the species though some of them will release their hairs (even while burning) and they can be toxic to eyes and respiratory systems especially in kids and dogs. Be careful.

Well, i guess its a good thing im planning to get rid of the tree when i widen the drive next year anyway...

Do i just kill em w a typical bush bug spray?

.....don't spray poison up the tree and risk getting poison on yourself,yard,etc............. take Jeepinmatts famous advice, it works every time and is a great solution for for many problems :smokin:

On another note.....won't they spread to neighboring trees and kill them as well?

At home growing up some years just seemed to be worse. I do remember them in multiple trees when left unchecked.
