Gift exchange idea for nc4x4 mods please check out

I wanted to throw this idea out there for christmas 2014. Ive been watching this on the pirate for the last few years. I think its cool all the creations they come up with. I know we have a lot of creative guys and gals on here. So a quick rundown on how it works.. Send email to whoever is over the gift exchange. Email includes email address,user name,real name,mailing address. There is a deadline to participate. Then names are drawn. Like a secret santa. Gifts must be cooked/baked/made/created/designed by you. There is a deadline to have your gifts shipped out. Now remember pirate 4x4 is world wide so they have there own set of rules. In the past members who participated gave gifts but did not receive any. If you read the link below they are trying to stop people from taking advantage of the game. Of course we can have our own rules. But check it out and search for past years. Let's get some feedback. Thanks yall!

I think it's a cool idea. It would be really cool to be able to meet out at URE or something before they close and do the exchange and then ride. This would limit the people taking advantage of the shipping situation.

I agree with yall. It would be cool to meet and exchange. Only downside is people who couldnt come out for the ride. Their probably would be a lot more participation if someone could just ship instead of dedicating a day or two to come out. Seeing how we have members in different states. Or if someone cant make "the gift and ride" event..then they could ship it.

If we do this person i say do dirty santa! $20-30 gift wrapped. Draw a number, first opens a gift, #2 either takes theres or opens another, gift can only be robbed 3 times.... We do this with our family and its a blast!!

I like the way Pirate does it. You never know what your going to get. I think part of the fun is the suspense of waiting on it to come in the mail.

I'm in. Secret Santa style with names drawn randomly sounds like a blast. I think we should have it in place soon to allow plenty of time to procrastinate.
