You may know where I'm going with this, but I have been looking around online and from what I am reading these are the best photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign free knockoffs.

I need all three programs for a new project we are goin for with 4x4cross/Straight Diesels but like everything else I've done, got to just get by with what I can since this new project is gonna be quite a stretch on what budget we do Have and teach myself as I go like usual.

I found out the other day I can use Illustrator pretty well already, had to freakin show the daggum sticker guy in town how to use his own dang program the other day and I have never even used the program other than watching others use it, and this dude supposedly went to school for that stuff. :shaking:

I also need gimp/inkscape (or similar) for design work instead of always trying to find someone to design my logo's, stickers, T-shirts, etc for me all the time, that way I just send in the file and say here print this type deal

Anyone have any input on the Gimp/Inkscape/Scribus programs, or have any better suggestions that might work better?

Thanks guys

Cyd's brother uses solely inkscape and gimp. I fawking hate them b/c I'm used to the Adobe shortcuts and workflow. But they're perfectly acceptable substitutes. The t-shirt design and new NC4x4 logo were done in Inkscape at least to some extent.

I use Gimp, and like it. I've never used photoshop so I can't compare the 2. You can use alot of the photoshop stuff with Gimp.
heres a few things I've done

Cool thanks for the input, anybody had any experience with Scribus?
