My girlfriends family lives this everyday. Her aunt has short term memory loss, took her 4 years before she remembered who I am. Ask her a question and don’t like the answer ask again in 10 minutes she will give you a difference answer. you just have to learn to joke about it otherwise it becomes to much to handle.

She had an accident when she was 19, shes now in her 50s.
