glow plugs in a 7.3

Depends,is it a IDI or DI(Powerstroke or not).If it's a PSD they are not hard but very time comsuming. You will have to pull the valve covers to gain access to them. If's a non PSD it is as easy as changing spark plugs sine they are on the outside of the head.Unless they have swelled they should come out easy.I've done a couple and always used Motorcraft's back.

Just out of curiosity, do you know that it's actually the glow plugs that are bad? It's very common for the glow plug relay to go out on you which of course causes the glow plugs to not turn on. Definitely worth checking if you haven't done that yet.

These guys are cheaper than the International place. Also if the relay is good then possible harness is melted. You should be able to use the same gaskets if they are not burnt up as well. Its not that hard to do. Clear a path to the valve covers ant you will see the plugs.
