Glow Plugs

Looks like my glow plug relay went out on the tow pig...while I'm waiting for the new GPR, I'm going to test the glow plugs.

Just wondering, what do you guys do if/when you find a bad one?
Replace all 8?
Replace the 4 on that bank?
Replace the bad one only?

I'd just test all of them with a multimeter and replace the bad ones.

If one is bad the others are soon to follow. As a rule I always replace them all and the control relay. Pay close attention to your V-cover harness.

Well, 3 of the 8 tested bad....so they'll definitely get replaced. Good thing is they're all on the passenger side bank, so I'll probably replace all 4 along with the GPR.

Looks like the driver side valve cover is a pain to get off, so I won't be replacing those, but I'll keep an eye on them....
