I am thinking about puting a diesel in my J10 that currently has a 1993 TBI 350and 4l60e.
I will no longer need the ECM for the engine but I was wondering if used the TPS and tach inputs into the Stock ECM to control the 4l60e. and make it think it was still connected to the 350
I Know I could just use a 700r4 but this trans is a low milage GM Replacment and I know that it still has alot of life left.
The other option I thought of was to convert it back to the manual control like the 700r4, but I would like to keep the electronics if possible,
