Any current GM techs?
Got a strange one on my work car, and frankly while a minor problem it has me stumped.
I recently had to change cars with another employee, do to regular rotation (mileage differences) and when we swapped he said his keyfob remote had always been intermittent, but "usually" locked the car but rarely unlocked it.
So trouble shooting this is what I found, and it makes zero sense to me.
1) I have changed the battery and re programmed the fob per the om and this persists.
2) the keyfob will ONLY work during the auxillary exit delay. During this time all buttons work, "lock" "unlock" and trunk/panic.
3) After the auxillary exit delay (interior lights go out) no remote functions work.
Is it feasible that the wireless receiver is not powered on by a constant?
BTW this is a factory fob 07 Impala if it makes a difference.
