When this process is done on a D60 front, how exactly is the spring perch on the passenger side redone/fixed since its made into the differential itself?
Not trying to be an ass but is the crazy amount of lift really worth all the trouble it causes? There's been countless 1 ton Toyota swaps where people have ran 40s and 42s with not much more than a 6" and a good front stretch.
Toyota, 60/14B axles, modified RUF pack with maybe 2-3" of lift and a 4 link out back clearing 42" TSL's...No stupid pinion angle issues or caster issues. It was full hydro but cruised around town better than my toy axles and 38's that were under it before. Doesn't have to be a skyscraper to clear bigger tires.
