GM HP Dana 70 front?

I believe that is a newer gm front axle that comes in the Kodiak editions. 10 lug I think. Very $$$ Rather than buy one you can also build from a HP 60 what's called a "Jana 76" where you take HP 70 gears and install them into a 60 housing. T-frady on here has one. Handles insane amounts of power.

I'm still debating on whether to do tons or 2.5 tons....I found a DIY disc brake conversion for the 2.5's using Ford B700 rotors and Ford F550 calipers which should only cost around $600 an axle, only issue with the rocks is that in NC there is a law that you MUST have a E-brake and I haven't found any threads or info on how to set up one on rocks.

Rocks would be a good choice. If the DBC kit uses gm calipers then I would look into e-brake Cadillac calipers. Contact gubni on here and I'm sure he can help you put together a kit.

Keep the pinion brake for the parking brake...

Can you share a link with that brake conversion?

So run disc brakes all the way around using B700 rotors and F550 calipers and add a pinion brake on the rear axle?

A zz502 is bigger.
