Well, I heard a ton but didn't get any shots. I had one fly off from behind me so after another hour I got up and started walking. Come to find out there was a guy behind me spooking the birds 
So, after a brief chat with Mr. Douchebag (or was it Dooshbagh?) I headed out in search of my friend. I got halfway around a trail and spooked one heading my way. Oh well, there's always next weekend.

Sounds like a typical opening day for me! I can't remember all the times I finally decided to move or go after a gobbler in the distance only to find a silent Tom was closing on me

Typically, I don't move but once I saw the bird fly off I waited 30 minutes with nothing so I struck out only to strike out :sadpanda:
