Hey guys (and gals)

Most of you know where I stand with my faith. I'm proud to be a Christian, it sure has changed my life! Lots of you have witnessed the change if you knew me a few years ago.
God has been using me in several ways. I've preached a handful of times, shared my testimony in a few churches and love to help people understand the Gospel.

Now God has opened a door for me to go do the same in Romania the last week in April. I will be going with 11 others to minister to the poorest people in the country. They are truly the outcast over there. We will be helping restore a school, provide supplies, have Vacation Bible School for the kids, feed about a thousand people and hold a church service in this village each night.
I need all my brothers and sisters in Christ to keep me and my family in your prayers. I will be leaving my wife and daughter behind for 10 days.

Prayer is the number one thing I need, but financial support is much appreciated. I thought I'd reach out to my 4x4 community to ask for some help. Not everyone can up and leave the country to tell people about Christ, but lots of us can spare a $20 or so. Please help me out if you don't mind. The money does not go directly to me.

DUDE this is cool!! I'm from Odobesti, Romania right outside Focshan (spelling is off im sure). born and raised there until i got adopted when i was 10. I feel what you are doing and going...props to you brother. that is a tough area and i know all about it. I don't have much funds to give currently but you def have my support in my heart and prayers since you are visiting my homeland. Blessed trip and ministry and stay strong and courageous over there!! Europe is kinda scary nowadays.
 
interesting piece of history about Romania. It was THE bastion against the advancing Ottoman Empire. The Ruler of Wallachia made a last stand against the Muslim fighters. fighting alone with few allies against an enemy bound and determined to destroy all the non believers, this Prince turned to shock and awe to break the will of those he was fighting.

Every time he killed an enemy soldier he impaled them along the road to his kingdom. When the main army marched on him they had to travel through miles of their dead and impaled comrades. by the time they reached the battlefield they were either so sickened by the sight of death or fearful of what lay ahead that they turned around and left.

The defender of the christian world was Vlad the Impaler. Vlad Dracula, our most iconic symbol of anti christianity.
