Good trip, glad I was able to come and wheel with everyone. Post up some pictures! That creek trail was pretty awesome; hate it that so many folks broke. We need to get that 60' section of trail named "u-joint alley."

Anyone discover any new carnage getting home? Bryan's truck tried to eject a tail light at me on the highway, just the bracket ended up coming off his trailer and bouncing under my tow rig.

Thanks dude for coming. Was a great trip and i appreciate the creek ride.

@OnlyOneDR you've been recommended as one who might know about that trailer with the old Willy’s.
The trailer I’m building is (was) the same model…. And I don’t know much about it.. trying to find out more about it.

I gotta get me some friends that invite me wheeling lol 😂
Well Noel come join us anytime! We even have a few of you jeepers in our club 😂😂

99% sure it is a Converto Civilian Dump. Not a lot of information on these. The clues are the top/bottom hinging tailgate for dumping, center pivot under the frame for tilt, angled-out top rails with through pockets, and a landing leg that looks just like the military Converto. See the trailer on this page, it is nearly identical (also not positively identified but has all the characteristics): What is it's?

There are so many kinds of these old "Jeep" trailers from the late 40's and 50's. The biggest ones were Bantam, David-Bradley, and Spen but there are at least a dozen more like Knox and Converto that had their niches. Once upon a time I bought a Knox and gifted it to my brother and he built a camping trailer out of it. I would like to find a Bantam T3-C or a Spen for my own Willys.

Yup… that’s what I needed to know. My pivot has been welded to not pivot— I thought it was maybe torsion axles that where cut off.
