I have avoided that article all day.....onions.

Always remember that...
Compassion is not a sign of weakness.
It IS a sign that your heart is in the right place. Kinda makes me sleep good at night.
Merry Christmas to all!

I had tears. My coworker said "what's wrong " showed him and by the time I collected my self was struggling. Needless to say it went on for about 3 more people just like that. Worst then a cold

Humanity isn't lost yet.

The world as a whole needs to stop searching and concentrating on the negatives. Everybody is so wrapped up in what went wrong and who to blame.

Got to try and find the silver lining in everything. We are part of this world for to short of a time to waste it with a heart full of hate.

God bless this man and the many like him that put others before themselves.

Man, that story tore me up. My son just turned 6 yrs old and still believes. We took him up to Bryson City last weekend to ride the Polar Express and see Santa. He was so excited. I feel terrible for that little boy and his parents.

I read that story and got the same result as most of you - who's cutting those damn onions. This morning I asked my wife if she read it and she said no, tell me about it. I got all choked up a couple of times while telling her about it and both of us ended up with teary eyes.

This just in: Liberals blame Trump for fake Santa news!

I knew this man as a child. He has a son that is a year younger than I am and they lived in my home town for a stretch. They are fine people, and I have no doubt about the validity of the story. He isnt the type to make up something like this, but he's certainly the type to not disrupt the grieving family by giving the press their info, and bless him for it. I can't prove my account either but that doesn't make it any less true.

I saw the story the other day online and I am not ashamed to say that it brought me to tears. This morning on my way in to work they were saying the story was fake on the radio and at first I was outraged but then I thought about it. Of course he wouldnt give the names of the grieving family. Also, the hospital would be in violation of the HIPAA laws if they gave out the names of the family or verified the story in any way. What reason would the Santa have to lie about this anyway? The local news wont pay him for his story, the most he could possibly get out of it is a few more Santa gigs but even that is ridiculous. I am choosing to believe the story unless some real hard facts come out saying otherwise.

Sounds like he's a pretty stand-up guy:

Facts verified in Santa's hospital visit story

it is fucking SAD that something like this would even come into question.

There are a shit storm of REAL FAKE stories that should be debunked and verified about real life altering events and something like this has to be scrutinized and verified.

people are fucked up.

As fucked up as it is, children die every day.....the idea that one could die in the arms of Santa takes the sting out just a tiny bit. Tears are part of it.
