I have a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old so it can really bring the suck for me to watch TV on family movie night.

Desperate for an alternative to Frozen or Shaun the Sheep, I stumbled across a film that I found refreshingly delivered with a unique blend of computer generated characters and the natural landscape.

I found it on Hulu. From the breif research I did it was roughly 20 mill to make and group effort between French and Belgium talent. Many suspected awards last year, but since it would be considered foreign it went largely unnoticed. Not a single word spoken in any "language" yet the whole flamn damily stayed engaged and there was definitely dialogue

Here is the preview

Edit: And real men are a lot of things, but IMHO being a good father is one of the most important. So for all the haters...:fuck-you:

Not on Netflix.

:(

We watched Rudolph and "Room on the Broom" tonight.

Also, never heard of Shaun the Sheep. Any good?

My 4 yo is obsessed with "The Nut Job" right now. Gonna have to try this Ants movie..... tired of seeing this one

@shawn .... Shaun the sheep is pretty good. No dialogue

Shaun the Sheep is actually very well done and refreshing as well. Problem is when you sing the intro tune while at work because the kids like it so much.

On Netflix try Gruffalo and Gruffalo's Child. Also Stick Man. All done by the same folks who did Room on a Broom.

Shaun the Sheep is by the Wallace and Grommet and Chicken Run guy. It's usually has an excellent story and is very funny.

All the Shaun the Sheep and others I mentioned we always catch on Amazon Prime.
