I sold the Jeep / I sold the Jeep. :):(:driver:
Going to pick up new to me tow rig this evening and shopping for a dd.

I think 12,000lb is the GCWR (Gross Combined Weight Rating), The tow rating would be 12,000lb - the weight of the van (About 6600lbs for towing)

Dad had one identical to this that we used when playing traveling ball growing up. It was awesome. We just sat in the back playing super Nintendo until we got tired then we laid the back seat down and slept. My dad loved it.

Small rig~check, trailer not so light. Im going to be at max #, until i can make some chnges\upgrades
 
If budget allows an aluminum trailer may help with weight issues.
 
Weight dist hitch and take your time, you'll be fine. Congrats, good luck and be careful always!
