A friend sent me this link, you younger guys want know the show at all. I like how the truck leaps off the ground in the later shots when they started beefing it up.
I think I remember reading somewhere (4 wheel & off road?) when I was younger they put weight in the back of the bed. Thinking to much weight when he jumps that bus in town - lands hard tilted back, that bumper gets sheared off hard when it hits. That's an old school bumper too - thick!
The boat shot is gimicky, but everthing else is a hard lick, no computer tapping fru-fru stuff here.
Ya'll are right, I looked around and it said after they tore up quite a few trucks they later built a mid mounted jump truck. So, that 3:39 shot is the jump truck for sure, haft'a guess on all the others.
Great show!!! I remember when I was like 13 or 14 there was a guy at our church that had the exact same truck minus the logo on the hood & all us little boys thought it was the best to get to ride in it!
Me and SSWater's brother used to have drafting class together in high school. We would have to talk about that week's show untill it was worn out! The Blonde was'nt bad either. She obviously was an early proponent of elective surgery.
I saw that article in the 4WD magazine you were talking about Scott. They showed the cage, suspension, and stuff in it. That guy wore a ton of pads when he jumped it.
There was a guy that will remain nameless, that went to school with all of us. He had a short bed version of that truck. He got a little mouthy one night about how bad the truck was and how he would empty his wallet if anyone could drag it backwards. It didnt end up like he thought it would.
