Looking for a good repair shop in Charlotte thats capable of working on older vehicles (OBD1). Needing a bit of work done on wiring/ignition work. Anyone know of a couple shops that do good work? I dont want to go to some place that will try to rape my wallet and lie to me.

American Auto Electric off Graham and 85. (Craighead?)
Been using them for over 20 years on alternator and starter rebuilds and thay have a very capable repair shop for wiring issues. Good people.

My daughter had problems with her car in Charlotte. I asked here and was recommended to check out Almar Auto Repair on south blvd. The guy did great work and at a price that was much cheaper then quoted by the place she went here in Raleigh. I would highly recommend this place. He has since done work for two more times and all has been top notch.

^ This.
I think I am the one that recommended them. I sold a Tahoe to a guy a few years back who had ALS, he had me meet him there for them to inspetc the vehicle. I was blown away by the service and the folks were real. I sold a 200k mile Tahoe that looked like new, but it had normal 200k miles issues. They went through i for 30 inuts and wrote two pags of good and bad, up. Then after they went through all that they asked him what I was asking. They were really professional. I did make the sale but that has nothing to do wth the recommendation.

Alright cool guys, ill probably have them Almar Auto take a look at my firebird and get it running. Trying to get it back into DD duty since my jeep is becoming a pig on gas.
