Good shop near Fuquay to check out a truck for potential purchase?

My friend is looking at a 1-ton Chevy gas powered truck near Fuquay, and wants a reliable shop out that way to take it for a pre-purchase inspection, just to be sure.

Any recommendations of a good shop?

Last time he took a truck to some heavy truck place on Hwy 55 in Apex, and they tried to convince him the rear axle in the 99 CTD he was looking at was NOT a full floater. :shaking:
 
I trust 55 Auto in Apex highly, they had several opportunities to stick it to more than a few people, and didn't. They get all the work I don't want to do...

He could stop by Steve Ashworth's shop and ask in there...
 
I'd check with Goodyear. (Fuquay Tire) They'll do it for roughly $40 (+/-) 919-552-9090 I've heard nothing but good about them.

Thanks all. He took it to 55 Automotive and was very happy. They pointed out some stuff that allowed him to negotiate the price down more, and he bought the truck last night.
