I need to replace some incandescent 12V bulbs with some LEDs. The ones I need have the standard E26 base (like the ones you use in your home in a lamp). I'm finding some but they're pricey. I was hoping maybe some of you have a source if you have a houseboat that's wired for 12V.

It's an easy to use website with good reviews and even wiring diagrams for stuff. Beats sifting through the crap on eBay.

I found some good stuff on Amazon. I don't know if I'm too keen on some of them. Especially, the ones that are exposed to the elements like this one. However, it's exactly what I need. I'm afraid I'm going to have bird crap, moths, fly crap and other stuff messing it up.

Did you have that problem w/ the old incandescent bulb?
Is it not inside any kind of an enclosure?

Not a problem with function but they use too much power. I need a more efficient bulb that I can run and potentially put off more light.

It doesn't appear to be from the pictures I saw.
Sorry, I mean ta problem w/ "bird crap, moths, fly crap and other stuff messing it up".

walmart has been carrying some of the more popular automotive sizes LED replacement bulbs
