Ben to lake Powell, rented a boat and had a blast. Camped at Hall's Crossing(look that up on google earth!) Enjoyed both trips to that location. Moab, Utah has a lot to offer besides just wheeling, the scenery is amazing and there is Canyon Lands NP, Arches NP, Colorado River and a whole lot more.
Bowling Green Ky. is pretty cool, just got back from there a few months ago. Corvette Museum, Mammoth Cave(396miles of caves) Diamond Caverns, and Lost River Cave and so on.
Grand Canyon is still on my favorite places, Been to south and north rim! Pics don't do it justice.
Lake Douglas at Newport Tn. is a good place to rent a boat also. Lots to see from the water. And the zoo is great in Knoxville Tn. Pigeon Forge is close by also.
Chattanooga Tn. has a lot to do, The aqurium is awesome, Holmes Wrecker Museum was great, Ruby Falls is pretty interesting and the Incline Railway is the steepest rails on earth!
Tuscon Arizona was fantastic and sorta surprizing! Pima Air Museum was incredible! The caves are realy cool and not far(70miles) is a little town on the border that time forgot! Bisby is stuck back in time and we shot pool in a saloon with no electricity! That's right, they get ice delivered to keep the beer cold! The only heat they have in a fireplace and a woodstove. The Copper Palace Hotel was spectacular and the streets in this city are two wagons wide!
Just a few suggestions, have fun!
