Goose neck hitch ??

Got a new (to me) tow rig with a fold down hitch. Can't tell what brand or how to fold the ball up. I removed the bolt and pulled up on the ring. The ring will come up some but the tab that goes under the ball from the ring will not budge the ball in the upward direction. Not 100% sure I'm doing it right but it seems like that's how it's supposed to work. Any insight to what I'm doing wrong or what's wrong with the hitch? Thanks, John

Mines a different style hitch (B&W?), but has a rod underneath (between bed & frame accessed from rear fenderwell) that you pull to release the ball...

Got it. The ball was just frozen. I got underneath with a jack and a piece of wood and pushed the ball up. Greased it and everything works good now.

You were correct. (I know it's a little late) Make sure you put the ring back down over the ball and put the bolt back in the hole while using it.
