GoPro camera suggestions

So my in-laws gave me some money towards a GoPro camera for Christmas.

I have been looking at the camera and am wondering if the Hero3+ Silver is pretty good, or if I should splurge and get the Hero3+ Black.

I probably won't be doing any real photo editing, mostly YouTube stuff and things, some still pictures for my business. I currently use my phone for everything, so looking for an upgrade.

Once I get my TA finished I would like to use it mounted on the car at the track and on the streets. Maybe use it on the quad and at the kids sports games.

What say you, GoPro users? I know the black comes with the wireless remote so it is almost like you are paying $20 extra for the camera. I'm just not sure.
 
I have the gopro hero 2 and its awesome the way it is. If I remember right I want to say the black edition had a few more options as far as resolution and fps than the silver did might be something to check. Either one your gonna like its just how much you wanna spend.
 
If you can afford to, get the black edition. You might not think you would use the extra options, but if you don't have them, you'll wish you did. I have been looking into getting one myself.
 
Where did you get it? I'm in the market for one.
