I realize this may be a stretch but I also know this is a pretty awesome community. That said, I'm wondering if anyone has a gopro setup that I could use/borrow/rent whatever. I just finished my Jeep/Cummins build and would like to get some realtime video of my trans mount under strain. I am using a custom mount of my own design and have some concerns as to its strength and durability. Any help would be greatly appreciated...Let me know what Ya'll got! Thanks
 
Post a picture of the trans mount. If you're worried about it, I'll make you one you won't be able to pick up :D Btw, it's about time you finished that thing.

Yes it has taken far too long but doing a total restoration (all the way to bare frame) complete with paint and custom interior and complete drivetrain swap in a one car garage is not usually easy.Oh did I mention that I had to stay on a ridiculous budget? LoL I can send text ya a pic outta the cell but that's all I got. Kinda hard to see the compound angle from the pic. Had some work done @ Baldwins trans and the tech said it seemed like the rubber was separating on one side of the mount. I'm happy with the height of the mount, I have about 22' ground clearance and I'm tight to the tub, and really don't want anything crazy heavy but there could probably be a design that is more "service friendly" Pm your # and I'll send a pic
 
Better yet ! Put your key in the ignition and drive across town !!
