Since I'm basically spending $$ to go to work every week trying to make it big with this event stuff I have decided to use my ravishingly good looks to make $$ on the side in the mean time making some films I'll probably regret later . . .

:shaking: Na, but In all seriousness I'm in kinda a predicament and need some help if you got a fairly decent video camera.

The BDB Ride, next weekend, Oct 29-31st I am supposed to be filming for the 4x4cross DVD, well my normal guys the CBRV crew can't make it. No worries, they told me months ago they couldn't. Had another crew lined up that will go unnammed but they have backed out on me . . . great.

So I'm trying to assemble a rag tag camera crew for that weekend or at least Saturday Mainly.

It'll pay, not a ton, wasn't kidding about the serious lack of $$ part, if your like a legit TV production film guy I'll be honest I probably can't afford you, basically just need dudes with semi decent cameras that like off-roading or may have already been planning on going and wanna make a lil bit of cash to go to the BDB ride.

Don't need any editing just raw footage taken, need two to three camera guys.

Hollar at me if you got a semi-legit camera and wanna make some bucks.

I don't know much about cameras but I will say it has to be a legit camera that films fairly good quality and you need to have a tripod or shoulder mount because freehand is just too shaky for me to use. i also have been told the kinda cameras that will work to get by usually go for anywhere from $400 to 800 on todays market, if that helps you determine weather or not your vid camera will work.

If you've got youtube vids of some of your previous work that'll help me pick you, like i said I could care less bout editing I just need good clean filming, and if you've got some cool filming techniques or vids you can show me that'll help me pick you better.

Let me know, need some help, heck if your good and like getting paid to go to events and film, I may be hollering at you again at some point later on in the year/next year as well if I need camera guys again some time.

Have about 9k in high def gear. Was at the lex mud pit two sun ago, tall guy with the black backpack. Someone with a white tshit and a video cam on a tri pod was asking his buddy wtf I was doing there with a camera, if I was trying to steal their job? Didn't even speak to find out lol. Oh and the other comment was that no one uses mini dv anymore. Guess he doesnt count every major network as well as cable networks like discovery, animal planet etc lol. Anyway here is what I have.

Waiting on my new hdr-cx110Hd to arrive any day now. Its a full 1080 compact frame unit. Also have a sony high def fx7 1080 mini dv, hd condenser mic ran thru beachtek xd box with xlr inputs for full stereo sound, pro grade hd wide angle video lens, sony prograde batts, broadcast grade 1080 tape, sony hd memory, etc.

Also two nikons, a nikon d300 and d700 full hd still bodies, 12.3mp, able to shoot video as well, hd high speed cf and micro drive memory, external gps, sb600 and sb900 speed flash, tons of lens from fisheye to tele zoom, manfrotto carbon fiber tripod, velbon alum tripod, contour variable mount action 1080 hd camera (mounts to cars, helmets, etc) and I'm sure other stuff I forgot.

I've got an in car set up I'm doing for a formula 4 car and a mazdaspeed road race car in Atlanta coming up and some sky divers to shoot. Let me know if you think you could use some help and I'll check my schedule.
