I thought he gave the officer permission to run the serial numbers on the gun?
Just because someone has a Concealed Carry permit does not meant they won't break any laws. That would be like saying cops would never break the law?
I think the cops took it a little far by what is being said here but, what is the officers side of the story? There is always two sides and they will rarely say the same thing. His attitude most likely played a big roll in the whole thing. the cops could have been looking for a vehicle involved in some other crime and the vehicle was close to the desription. To come to any conclusion without both stories would not be fair. I say fight it if the cops are in the wrong. If you were in the wrong suck it up and pay the court or a lawyer.
