Bought a pretty sweet setup from a friend of mine that he ran for years. He parted the XJ out and sold me all the running gear, links, tabs, springs, etc and Im in the process of throwing it all under my 96 ZJ. All frame mounts are done and the axles are under the jeep...

The guys around here call them bastrard joints... does anyone know the part # for the ujoints to run the stock drive shafts with the one ton axles?

Ill be doing a budget steering setup, prolly a TG orbital, northern tool ram, etc. What do I need to connect the steering rod to the orbital? Does someone make an adaptor from the factory steering into the orbital for the Cherokees or are they all universal? This is my first hydraulic steering setup so bare with me on my lack of knowledge :)

the front should be the standard 1310. most dana 60s are. most rears use, 1350. so you will need a 1310 to 1350. i got a spicer from www.ecgs.com

i'm against thr trail gear orbital. i havent had mine on the trail once, and its aready acting funny. go with a better one.
the part that connects the orbital to the steering shaft is called a column. i think it was a 36 tooth, i could be wrong.

for a ram. check out www.surpluscenter.com they have alot of cheap but worth the money stuff.

to run hydro steering you will need a smaller pully for the pump. or an upgraded pump.
