Grand theft ...Hotdog?

Bet he gets his hot dog now.

Eh, our prisons are not crowded enough lets put a guy in there that stole a hot dog. OMG! that could just be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. This country needs to start being creative with the punishments, I vote for making him eat one hot dog for every week he is to be in prison in one sitting.

He also had several prior arrests for similar things.

I agree from teh outsiet it sounds harsh, but obviously the first several times didn't work.

If he stole a hot dog from Terry, I think he would deserve worse!

Yes, I did, and I still think it's ridiculous that he gets to spend another 18 months NOT learning his lesson while tax payers get to spend more money paying for it. I think prisons should be WAY more harsh. Prison should be a place that makes people not want to go back to. Of course we can't do that because then we have people whining and crying about how the prisoners are being treated. By all means be completely harsh on the guy string him up by his toes and cane him, do something to help him learn the lesson that committing crimes is a bad thing; going back to jail isn't the answer.
