Grandparent scams

My grandparents think I've been in an Ecuadorean prison for smuggling 2 lbs of pot out of the country, got raped by three black men in prison and needed bail money and a ride from Charlotte international airport Tuesday.

Captain James Neal of the Ecuador embassy had been in contact with them for 2 days and sent them to the money gram store 4 times to get the money order right to bail me out of jail. Then they DROVE 2 hrs to the airport and waited on "me" to get there but my flight was delayed because I also tried to smuggle whiskey on the plane!

I called the phone number and actually spoke to the scammer who like a great actor had almost even convinced me that he was the captain of the embassy. Hung up with him and found this website

Called the number again an now it is disconnected. Spoke with the Secretary of State dept and filed a complaint with the FBI....

Their money is gone.


Warn your grandparents about this before they get scammed too.

It's was $4800 total and they were told not to try to call my cell or tell anyone else in the family. Apparently I had been living a double life and didn't want anyone else in the family to know.

All in all at least 3 people are involved. A girl that answered the phone at the us embassy, captain Neal and the crying hysterically pot smuggling grandson.

All done with a disposable 1-877 number. I'd love for these scum of the earth to be found.

Facts about all of our US Embassy's I didn't know.

1. None if them with have a 1-800 number, those are all for calling inside the US.

2. There is no jail at any embassy.

3. All lawyers at the embassy will be US citizens born in the US.

Someone tried that with my grandfather, he called my dad immediately and verified it was a scam.

These people are scum.

When I started reading it I thought it was the JOTD. I hate that really happend. Special place in hell for the POS that does this kind of thing.
