"grease car" SVO kits

The kits are pretty much the same stuff. I've been piecing mine together. My truck came with a 65 gallon tank in the bed...but I've purchased everything else (aux fuel pump, filter, 3 way line, heater, aux fuse block...) localy or on e-bay. I think I'm gonna build mine for less than $700.00. I've figured, 2 trips to Callalantee, 1 trip to URE and my trip to Camp Jeep this summer will pay for it...

I'll try to get a write up about my install up soon.

Well, it's got the hose-in-hose...good.
Doesn't use the pollack valves...good.
You certainly need more parts before you can run it though.. temp gauges so you know when you can switch over, switches, panel, etc...

I was thinking that i could just put the temp guage, fuel guage, and then an EGT in one of those three pod pillar guage mounts.

OK, but there's been discussion about the filter clogging very fast because of the way the return is plumbed, and also the length of purge time/method..

You could add another valve to change the purge method, or live with your finger on the button for a minute or more at a time.. :p
