Got the day started off having some breakfast with my son Josh, and then doing some wheelin with a couple of friends.
Even thought I flopped my Heep and did a lil damage, I had a great time. From there I got home and showered the dirt off, and went to the grocery store to get some cook out stuff. All three of my kids(biological) came over as did my two grand kids. Also there was my son n law, and my oldest son's significant other, and a friend of my daughters, who has for many years referred to me as "Daddy Chip" She spent many weekends at my home with my daughter growing up. Made me feel great as she told me upon arriving that "you are the only daddy figure she had ever known"
I made slaw, cut up some maters, lettuce, onions, made some baked beans and we grilled out some dogs and burgers.
My daughter and Jessica cleaned up the kitchen for me as I played with the g-kids. Both G-baby's were in a great mood and I really had fun playing with them.
All in all, one of the best Fathers days I have ever had.
